PINK

- it’s pretty

- it’s less harsh than red when correcting my colleagues’ horrible grammar

- it reassures the heteronormative crowd: despite liking sports and beer, I use a pink pen, therefore I am in fact a woman.

“This is a Sanford Uni-Ball Onyx pen. I’ve not paid for a pen in six years because I work in broadcast journalism and there is always a surplus of writing utensils. I have three of them and they are my favorites of the pens I’ve collected from my various employers.
